Equipped with their rock-solid reputation and a progressive outlook, this firm seeks for a Trade Finance Manager/Team Lead to be part of their team!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Banking Facilities

  • Lead and drive banking facility applications, renewals, and enhancements to support business expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks for trade facilities and daily operation.
  • Negotiate trade facility terms, limits, and banking charges with banks.
  • Monitor facility utilization and financing requirements to support ongoing operations and growth.
  • Support financing arrangements for asset acquisitions and future investment plans.

Trade‑related Risk Management

  • Identify, support, and manage trade‑related financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with treasury policies, banking covenants, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and strengthen internal controls over trade finance activities.

Trade Finance Operations

  • Oversee LC negotiations and perform final reviews of LC clauses to ensure accuracy, timely completion, and full compliance with bank requirements and internal controls.
  • Negotiate payment terms and financing structures with counterparties when required.
  • Coordinate closely with traders, operations, treasury teams and counterparties to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
  • Provide backup support for trade finance operations to ensure business continuity during staff absence or peak periods.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Business Studies/Finance/Banking/Economics/Commerce or any other relevant education
  • Minimum 8 years of Trade Finance/LC Management experience in the Energy/Oil Trading industry
  • Handled negotiations with bankers and counterparties on Trade Finance and banking facilities/financing activities
  • Able to multitask, highly organized, keen eye for details and has good interpersonal skills
