Job Purpose

To undergo structured on-the-job training in CNC machining operations and develop the technical knowledge, machine operation skills and production discipline required to progress into a CNC Operator / Junior Machinist role.

Key Responsibilities

· Attend and complete assigned CNC machining training and on-the-job learning.
· Learn basic operation of CNC machines according to work instructions and safety procedures.
· Assist experienced machinists with machine setup, loading and unloading of workpieces.
· Learn to read basic engineering drawings and work instructions.
· Learn the proper use of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges.
· Assist in checking dimensions and identifying basic machining defects.
· Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards around the machine and production area.
· Follow production, quality and safety requirements at all times.
· Report machine abnormalities, quality issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
· Participate in training and competency assessments.
· Perform other production-related duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

· SKM / Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Machining, Mechatronics or related field.
· Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
· Basic understanding of engineering drawings and measurements is an advantage.
· Willing to learn CNC machining.
· Good attendance, discipline and work attitude.
· Able to work as part of a team.
· Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.Key

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
