Monitor Oracle Security Advisories, quarterly CPU releases and monthly CSPUs.
Perform Oracle patch assessment and support patch deployment activities.
Conduct pre-patch assessment covering compatibility, dependencies and conflicts.
Schedule and plan patching activities across DEV, UAT and PROD environments, ensuring IM8-aligned timelines.
Prepare patch binaries and staging environments.
Perform backups and ensure rollback/recovery readiness before patching.
Deploy patches for Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), WebLogic Server, Oracle Forms & Reports, Oracle Database with Data Guard, OEM and Pro*C.
Perform Data Guard switchover and patching of active/passive database nodes.
Conduct post-patch validation, service availability and functionality checks.
Troubleshoot patch-related issues and provide post-patch stabilization support.
Review and remediate vulnerability assessment findings, including patching and configuration hardening.
Manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and coordinate with Oracle Support on issue resolution.
Perform cross-environment operational support across DEV, UAT and PROD.
Prepare patch-cycle documentation, execution records, validation reports and remediation reports.
Ensure all patching activities comply with NYP operational, security and governance requirements.
REQUIREMENTS / WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience administering Oracle Fusion Middleware 14c+.
Experience with Oracle Database 19c and Data Guard.
Experience with OHS, WebLogic, Forms & Reports, OEM and Pro*C.
Strong Oracle CPU patching experience in mission-critical production environments.
Knowledge of backup, rollback, recovery and Data Guard switchover.
Experience in enterprise or regulated environments with formal change/release processes.
Singapore-based resource.
