Job Scope

·        To ensure the payment vouchers / receipts are properly prepared with the necessary supporting documents attached.

·        To ensure the accounting entries from the payment vouchers are posted correctly into the QUICKBOOKS Accounting system.

·        Verify journal adjustments are properly posted and ensure accuracy.

·        Verify monthly financial statements i.e. Income and Expenditure, Trial Balance and Balance Sheet using the QUICKBOOKS Accounting Software and submit to the school by end of the 3rd week of the following month.

·        To prepare the consolidated financial statements for the School Management Committee(SMC) bank account.

·        To assist with replies to audit queries on SMC accounts and providing the required information for the annual audits as and when necessary.

Candidate should:

·        Be a Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant of Singapore

·        Preferably have at least a Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration

·        Possess      good      knowledge          of            skills       in            Microsoft             Office Applications (i.e. MS Office Suite)

·        Have minimum 3 years of accounting and audit experience

·        Preferably have      working knowledge          in            preparation        of government-aided school accounts

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

·     Once a month as and when upon request by SMC and Estimated 3 hours per session, per month
