• Provide safe, compassionate and patient-centred nursing care to obstetric and gynaecological patients.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, vital signs and overall well-being.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures and treatments.
• Provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal nursing care.
• Monitor pregnant patients, including maternal and foetal conditions, and promptly report any abnormalities.
• Assist in the management and care of patients before and after delivery.
• Provide nursing care to post-operative gynaecological patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and nursing interventions.
• Educate patients and families on treatment, medication, postnatal care and health-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control procedures and nursing standards.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in resuscitation and other critical interventions when required.
• Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board (LJM).
• Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Experience in O&G, maternity or women’s health is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Compassionate, responsible and able to work effectively in a team.
