Job Summary

Our client, an independent international trust company, is seeking a Trust Officer.

Responsibilities

• Administer legal structures including trusts, companies, and foundations to ensure accurate and compliant management
• Monitor and enforce adherence to fiduciary, statutory, regulatory, and internal obligations for all legal structures
• Draft legal and administrative documents to support the team in managing legal structures and responding proactively to client requests
• Coordinate communication with clients, advisors, and third parties such as external lawyers and tax consultants to facilitate smooth operations
• Collaborate with accounts teams by providing accurate information to qualified bookkeepers and accountants for preparation of annual accounts
• Apply and comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements including AML/CFT obligations

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a trust environment
• Demonstrated understanding of regulatory compliance, risk management, and trust structuring
• Possession of a relevant professional qualification

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Strong client servicing skills demonstrated through effective client engagement and support
• Proficient report writing and analytical skills to produce clear, accurate documentation
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• High attention to detail combined with an outgoing personality
• Commitment to maintaining a high degree of integrity and ethical standards
