About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to lead and manage new initiatives, enhancements and projects for CIMB OCTO, supporting the overall development roadmap of the digital banking platform and product enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage digital banking initiatives, enhancements and projects from planning through implementation and production support.

• Translate business needs into application and operational requirements.

• Prepare user requirements and support end-to-end solution design.

• Work closely with Customer Experience, Design, Technology and internal stakeholders.

• Participate in product test planning and test case preparation.

• Identify and manage project risks, including negative cases and failovers.

• Ensure technology solutions meet business requirements and are scalable across Digital Banking channels and products.

• Support delivery of quality projects within agreed timelines, budget and service levels.

• Champion and support the Mobile Banking roadmap and delivery.

• Keep customer needs at the centre of solution and journey design.

About you

• 4+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, Product Owner role or product management in the digital space.

• Experience in financial services is preferred but not essential.

• Working knowledge of digital banking; familiarity with internet banking and mobile applications is an advantage.

• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.

• Experience preparing User Stories / Business Requirements Definition.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Customer-oriented and able to understand and re-imagine customer journeys.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Design Thinking skills are preferred.
