Assistant Housekeeper – Public Area

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeper – Public Area to support the Housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in supervising and coordinating the daily cleaning of hotel public areas.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
• Monitor and inspect public areas, including the lobby, restaurants, meeting spaces, toilets, and back-of-house areas.
• Lead, train, and guide Public Area Attendants to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Prepare work schedules and allocate tasks to the team.
• Monitor cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemical usage.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up with relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with hotel standards, health, safety, and hygiene requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of Housekeeping experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
