Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Patent Admin Clerk based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Patent Admin Clerk will handle a range of administrative tasks to support the patent team, including preparing and managing documents, data entry, scheduling, and record-keeping. Responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, maintaining communication with clients and internal teams, and providing executive administrative assistance as needed. The role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and professional communication skills.

 

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage documentation, data entry, and maintain records
  • Strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and external stakeholders
  • Experience in Executive Administrative Assistance to support senior team members and handle confidential tasks
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with office software
  • Previous experience or exposure in the legal profession, particularly intellectual property, is an advantage
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in other languages is a plus
  • Minimum qualification: SPM or equivalent; additional certifications in administration or secretarial work are desirable
