Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Johore, Malaysia. This position is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, administering HR policies, handling employee benefits, and maintaining accurate personnel records. The role involves assisting with recruitment and onboarding, coordinating training and development activities, and supporting performance management processes. The Human Resources Specialist will also help address employee inquiries, ensure compliance with local labor regulations, and collaborate with managers to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience supporting daily HR operations.
  • Ability to develop, interpret, and implement HR Policies in alignment with company standards and local regulations.
  • Knowledge of Employee Benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and communication to employees.
  • Experience in Payroll Management, including employee records, attendance, and performance documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Understanding of Malaysian labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with a commitment to fairness and inclusion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HRIS or HR-related software and standard office productivity tools.
