We Are Hiring | Surveyor

We are looking for a Surveyor to join our team.

The Surveyor is responsible for carrying out surveying works throughout the various phases of a construction project, ensuring that all measurements, calculations and survey data are accurate and properly documented.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
• Prepare and maintain sketches, maps and survey reports to accurately document and certify survey works performed.
• Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data to determine positions, shapes and elevations of geomorphic and topographic features.
• Locate and mark sites selected for geophysical prospecting activities where required.
• Plan and conduct surveys to establish baselines, elevations and other geodetic measurements.
• Coordinate survey findings with engineering, architectural and other project personnel, clients and relevant stakeholders at site.
• Assist in identifying and resolving surveying-related issues encountered during construction activities.
• Maintain proper records and documentation of all survey activities and results.
• Ensure surveying works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, requirements and applicable standards.
• Adhere to safety practices and requirements at the workplace.

Skills & Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Land Surveying or Geo-spatial Information and Technology.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Minimally have completed 1 full cycle of a building project.
• Good understanding of surveying methods, measurements and construction site requirements.
• Able to accurately interpret and work with survey data, drawings and relevant technical information.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively with engineers, architects, subcontractors, consultants, clients and other stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced construction site environment.
