Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front Office Agent role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Front Office Agent is responsible for greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient front office operation. Day-to-day tasks include handling reservations and inquiries, responding to guest requests, processing payments, and coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs. The role also involves providing accurate information about hotel services and local attractions, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor, and resolving guest issues promptly and courteously. The successful candidate will help uphold Lloyd’s Inn’s standards of hospitality and contribute to a positive, service-oriented environment.
Qualifications
  • Front office and receptionist duties: experience managing reception operations, handling check-in and check-out, and supporting daily front office activities.
  • Customer-facing skills: strong customer service abilities and a genuine commitment to creating positive guest experiences.
  • Communication skills: clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to interact confidently with diverse guests and team members.
  • Basic administrative and computer skills: familiarity with reservation systems, email, and standard office software; ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or a related service industry is an advantage.
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Professional, well-groomed appearance and a courteous, adaptable attitude.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
