About the role

Our Preschool Teachers create a safe and supportive learning environment where children feel secure and valued. They build trust through respectful interactions and adapt the curriculum to keep learning engaging and relevant.

Teachers work closely with families and their colleagues to ensure a well-rounded approach to education. They reflect on their teaching to keep improving and stay up to date with best practices. Good communication and teamwork are essential, as teachers collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Create dynamic and stimulating learning environments by adapting an exciting curriculum rooted in six key domains: Cognition, Inquiry, Personal Effectiveness, Values & Virtues, Empathy, and Being.
• Deepen understanding of child development from infancy (6 months) to age 6, ensuring age-appropriate teaching approaches.
• Develop and refine teaching methods that align with curriculum frameworks to enhance learning outcomes. Implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
• Build trust and respect with children through meaningful interactions and engagement.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration by engaging in reflective practices and professional development.
• Ensure all health, safety, nutrition, and hygiene standards are met consistently.

What we're looking for

• Passionate about nurturing a love for learning and in making a difference in the lives of children
• Degree/Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or higher
• Registered and certified with ECDA as L1 or L2
• Strong communication skills. creative and inspiring with loving energy
