Position Summary

We are seeking an ambitious and self-driven Global Category Specialist – Personal Care Procurement to support Global Personal Care Procurement Strategy within the External Contract Manufacturing (ECM) organization.

This role will help build a connected procurement and operations community, deploy global category strategies, and develop a resilient and cost-effective supply chain through data-driven analytics, stakeholder management, and strong supplier relationships. The position will support multiple Personal Care product categories, with a focus on North American business requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesCategory Strategy & Governance

• Support the development and execution of global procurement strategies for Personal Care categories.
• Analyze market dynamics, industry trends, and benchmarking data to support business requirements.
• Develop fact-based recommendations to build a resilient and cost-effective supplier base.
• Ensure alignment between global, regional, and local procurement requirements.
• Drive efficiency by reducing complexity and promoting standardization.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Transportation, Manufacturing, Quality, and Safety teams.
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier partnerships that support business growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Govern category strategies and procurement processes while identifying opportunities for ongoing improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

• Build strong relationships and establish trust with stakeholders across the organization.
• Influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels to achieve procurement objectives.
• Participate in cross-functional and global teams to develop and execute Personal Care strategies and initiatives.
• Support market benchmarking and supplier research to identify opportunities and inform supplier selection.
• Contribute to change management initiatives associated with procurement and ECM programs.

Commercial Leadership & Risk Management

• Identify opportunities to reduce single-source supply risks and improve supply resilience.
• Lead and support RFx events, including RFI, RFQ, and RFP activities.
• Partner with procurement team members on supplier negotiations and commercial agreements.
• Analyze supplier pricing, market data, and benchmarks to achieve competitive contract structures.
• Support supplier risk management and business continuity initiatives.
• Promote procurement best practices and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Procurement, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in Strategic Sourcing and Category Management.
• Strong experience in Stakeholder Management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience contributing to multi-year category strategies and supplier relationship strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to leverage data, market intelligence, and benchmarking.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage programs and initiatives within a matrixed organization.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across global regions, cultures, and time zones.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to reconcile diverse business requirements.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Coupa, SAP, and ETQ.
• Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Personal Care, Manufacturing, or Contract Manufacturing.
• Understanding of finished-product manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with global or regional supplier networks.
• Experience supporting procurement transformation, cost optimization, or supply chain resilience initiatives.
