Architectural Project Managers - Data Centre Construction - PMC - Johor Bahru

Key Responsibilities

1. Building Envelope & Structural Fit-Out

• Aesthetic & Functional Elements: Oversee the execution of external cladding, high-performance roofing systems, sandwich panel walls, raised floor installations, and specialized acoustic ceilings.
• Structural Loading Coordination: Verify that architectural floor layouts can support ultra-heavy MEP equipment loads, including massive multi-megawatt backup generators, transformers, and high-density battery racks.
• Spatial Integrity & Air Tightness: Ensure data halls achieve perfect air tightness and thermal insulation properties to minimize cooling leakage and meet strict Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) requirements.

2. Physical Security, Fire Protection & Zoning

• Security & Access Control Layouts: Design and implement architectural zoning configurations for physical security, including anti-tailgating turnstiles, mantraps, bullet-resistant partitions, and perimeter fencing.
• BOMBA Fire Compartmentation: Ensure passive fire protection measures comply with the Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL), managing fire-rated walls (up to 2 or 4 hours), blast relief dampers, and fire doors.

3. Coordination & Spatial Integration

• BIM Spatial Control: Lead Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination meetings to prevent spatial clashes between structural/architectural elements and complex mechanical ducting or electrical cable trays.
• White Space / Data Hall Readiness: Manage the precise installation of heavy-duty ceiling grids (for structural containment drops), anti-static raised flooring, and hot/cold aisle containment structures.

4. Planning, Procurement & Compliance

• Material Procurement: Track long-lead architectural materials (e.g., specialized fire-rated doors, certified raised floor tiles, acoustic panels) to prevent critical path delays.
• Statutory Clearances: Coordinate with local municipal councils (PBT) and relevant bodies to secure the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC).

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
