Role Description The Electrical Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Johore, Malaysia. The person in this role will design, review, and optimize electrical systems and power distribution layouts for industrial and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing engineering drawings and calculations, performing electrical load analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards. The Electrical Engineer will coordinate with project managers, other engineers, and external stakeholders to support project planning, installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The role also involves troubleshooting electrical issues, preparing technical reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of engineering practices and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core principles to real-world projects.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design, including developing schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Power Distribution systems, including selection of equipment and protection devices.
• Knowledge of Power Systems analysis, including load flow, fault analysis, and system reliability considerations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Familiarity with relevant standards and codes (e.g., IEC or equivalent local regulations).
• Ability to use engineering and CAD software tools for design and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
• Prior experience in consulting, industrial, or construction projects in Malaysia is an advantage.
