Business Development Manager – IT Staffing

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Work Arrangement: In Person / On-Site
Salary: RM4,000 – RM8,000 per month

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – IT Staffing to drive new business growth and build strong client relationships in the Kuala Lumpur market.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities for IT staffing and recruitment services.
• Identify and approach potential clients through cold calling, LinkedIn, email, networking, and other channels.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
• Understand clients' IT hiring needs and propose suitable staffing solutions.
• Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
• Coordinate with the recruitment team to ensure timely candidate delivery.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and update CRM records.

Requirements

• 3–8+ years of experience in Business Development, IT Staffing, IT Recruitment, or Manpower Consulting.
• Proven experience in new client acquisition (Hunter profile).
• Strong knowledge of IT technologies and hiring requirements.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing the end-to-end sales cycle.
• Familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
• Existing client network in the Malaysian IT industry is preferred.
• Experience selling IT staffing or recruitment services to Malaysian companies is highly preferred.
