Role Overview
This role sits within the Contract Management team and works with a wide range of stakeholders and business units to review, implement, and negotiate third-party vendor contracts for IT services provided to the Company and its related entities.
The Contract Manager will be heavily involved in IT contracts, with a specific focus on software licensing and SaaS subscriptions.
Key Objectives
- Drive contractual and commercial outcomes for the Company.
- Ensure contracts meet the Company’s required standards.
- Identify and minimise risks within IT contracts.
- Maximise flexibility within IT contracts.
- Ensure appropriate allocation of risk between the Company and third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow the Group Technology IT Contract Management Guidelines, Contract Management Contracting Playbook, and other applicable company policies, standards, and processes.
- Implement new IT contracts, purchase orders, and Statements of Work (SOWs) between Company entities and third-party vendors.
- Renew existing IT contracts, orders, and Statements of Work.
- Drive contractual and commercial outcomes with third-party vendors, including cost savings, cost avoidance, and improvements to IT contract clauses.
- Ensure IT contracts meet the Company’s contractual standards and requirements.
- Identify and minimise risks within IT contracts, including reducing onerous obligations imposed by third-party vendors.
- Maximise contractual flexibility and ensure the Company secures broad rights to use technology with limited licensing restrictions.
- Ensure appropriate allocation of contractual risks between the Company and third-party vendors.
- Communicate and negotiate with vendors throughout the contracting process.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and business units involved in IT initiatives.
- Work closely with technical IT stakeholders to prepare operational, service, and general IT requirements for inclusion in contracts, orders, and SOWs.
- Manage communications with key stakeholders and business units.
- Lead and participate in discussions between Company entities and business units.
- Advise stakeholders on contract status, contractual queries, and clause interpretation.
- Maintain an accurate contract repository, ensuring relevant agreements, documents, and correspondence are properly stored for future reference.
- Engage with Contract Management team members and functional stakeholders, including Legal, Finance, Risk, and Tax.
- Coordinate and participate in internal and external meetings.
- Leverage internal Contract Management tools and repositories to support effective contract management and drive commercial outcomes.
Pay: From RM10,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
