Role Description The Food Beverage Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This position is responsible for coordinating daily food and beverage operations, including scheduling, menu coordination, and support for events such as banquets, conferences, and special occasions. The role involves working closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely preparation, accurate order delivery, and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. The coordinator assists in monitoring inventory, placing orders, managing documentation, and supporting cost control initiatives. The position also requires engaging with guests and internal stakeholders to address requests, resolve issues, and uphold Royale Chulan’s service and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Food & Beverage and Food Service skills, with experience in hotel, restaurant, or banquet operations.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Food Safety practices, including hygiene standards, safe handling, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Candidates should possess organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage schedules, events, and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant experience in hospitality or event coordination is preferred; a diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale or hotel management systems is beneficial.
