Job Title: Retail Operations Executive

Job Scope

The Retail Operations Executive will be responsible for supporting, training and monitoring promoters across approximately 10 retail outlets. The role also includes checking stock levels, replenishing stock and ensuring that each outlet follows the company’s operational and merchandising standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Visit all assigned outlets according to the weekly outlet visitation schedule.
• Train new and existing promoters on:
• Meltkies product knowledge
• Product prices and current promotions
• Customer service and sales techniques
• Product display and cleanliness standards
• Daily sales and stock reporting procedures
• Monitor promoter attendance, performance, grooming and customer service standards.
• Check stock levels at every outlet and ensure sufficient stock is available for daily sales.
• Replenish stock when the stock level is low and coordinate additional stock delivery when required.
• Check product expiry dates, packaging condition and overall product quality.
• Ensure all products are displayed neatly and according to the company’s merchandising guidelines.
• Record stock movement, damaged products, expired products and stock discrepancies.
• Communicate with outlet management and promoters regarding stock, sales and operational issues.
• Submit regular reports to management, including:
• Outlet visit reports
• Stock balance and replenishment records
• Promoter performance updates
• Sales observations
• Outlet issues and recommended actions
• Assist with promoter schedules, replacements and additional training when necessary.
• Support roadshows, promotional campaigns and new outlet openings when required.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Sunday: Off
• May be required to support special events, roadshows or urgent outlet matters outside normal working hours when necessary.

Requirements

• Must have own transport and be willing to travel between approximately 10 outlets.
• Must possess a valid driving licence.
• Good communication, leadership and training skills.
• Responsible, organised and able to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of stock management and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, sales promotion or outlet operations is preferred.
• Able to carry and transport reasonable quantities of stock when required.
• Able to plan outlet visits and manage time effectively.
• Willing to support promotional events or outlet operations when required.

Key Performance Indicators

• All assigned outlets are visited according to schedule.
• Promoters are properly trained and follow company standards.
• Stock is replenished promptly with minimal out-of-stock situations.
• Stock records and outlet reports are accurate and submitted on time.
• Products are displayed correctly and maintained in good condition.
• Outlet issues are resolved or reported promptly.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
