Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and proactive Marketing Executive to support the company’s marketing activities, with a primary focus on social media management, content creation and digital engagement. The role includes planning and creating content, managing the posting schedule, monitoring social media enquiries, and supporting marketing campaigns, events and brand activities.

The ideal candidate is creative, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to be hands-on across digital and on-ground activities.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management and Content Creation

• Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other relevant social media channels.
• Produce photos, short-form videos, Reels, Stories and basic marketing visuals.
• Develop and maintain monthly and weekly social media content calendars; schedule and publish posts according to the approved plan.
• Write captions and marketing copy aligned with the company’s brand voice.
• Monitor social media trends and suggest relevant content ideas, formats and opportunities.
• Monitor comments, private messages and enquiries; respond to basic questions and coordinate sales, product or customer service enquiries with the relevant department.
• Track social media performance and help prepare reports on reach, engagement, follower growth and content performance.
• Maintain consistent branding, messaging and visuals across platforms.

Marketing Support

• Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions and product launches.
• Support the creation of posters, digital advertisements, in-store materials and promotional content.
• Coordinate with internal teams, designers, photographers, videographers, suppliers and external partners as needed.
• Assist with influencer and KOL collaborations, product seeding and brand partnerships.
• Support marketing activities across the company’s brands, retail outlets and business units.

Events and Activations

• Help plan, prepare and execute company events, exhibitions, roadshows, community events and brand activations.
• Coordinate event materials, products, marketing collateral and other requirements.
• Provide on-ground support, including setup, registration, content capture and event coordination.
• Capture photos and videos during events for social media use.
• Assist with post-event content, reporting and documentation.

General

• Maintain organised records of marketing materials, content and campaign assets.
• Monitor competitors and relevant industry activities.
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager and other departments to deliver activities on schedule.
• Perform other marketing-related duties and projects assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Media, Business or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; one to two years of experience in social media, marketing or content creation is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms.
• Ability to capture basic photos and videos with a smartphone or camera.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar editing tools is an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Creative and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Comfortable working at events, including occasional weekends or after-office hours when required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in outdoor lifestyle, retail, events and community marketing is an advantage.
