Job Title: Salesman / Sales Executive
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years experience in FMCG / food products sales (traditional trade preferred)
Job Scope & Responsibilities

1. Sales & Market Development

• Actively promote and push Appalam to retailers, wholesalers, sundry shops, mini markets, and supermarkets.
• Identify new sales outlets and expand market coverage within assigned territory.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.

2. Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain good relationships with existing customers.
• Regularly visit customers to ensure stock availability and good shelf display.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

3. Order Collection & Payment Follow-up

• Take accurate orders and ensure timely submission to the office.
• Follow up on payments and ensure collections are made according to credit terms.

4. Merchandising & Promotion

• Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and promotional displays at outlets.
• Execute in-store promotions, sampling activities, and special campaigns when required.
• Monitor competitor activities and report market feedback to management.

5. Stock Monitoring

• Check stock levels at outlets to avoid out-of-stock situations.
• Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for timely delivery.

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily sales reports, visit reports, and monthly sales summaries.
• Update customer database and sales records accurately.

7. Compliance & Company Representation

• Follow company policies, pricing guidelines, and sales procedures.
• Represent the company and brand professionally at all times.

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum SPM / Diploma (any field).
• 2–3 years sales experience in FMCG or food products.
• Familiar with local market and retail trade.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
• Basic knowledge of sales reporting (manual or system-based).

Preferred

• Experience selling appalam, snacks, or dry food products.
• Existing retailer network is an added advantage.

Compensation

• Basic Wages: (depends on Sales experience)
• Sales Commission

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
