What this job involves:
As a business partner to Operations Lead, you will provide strategic finance support by delivering insightful financial analysis and operational improvement.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Business Partnering
Be the trusted financial advisor to the Operations Lead, providing data-driven insights to support decision making
Collaborate with various stakeholders including operation teams, shared service centres and third party service providers
Identify financial risks and opportunities through analysis of performance indicators
Financial Management & Control
Collaborate with site teams and SSC to ensure the lifecycle of vendors’ PO processing align with JLL policues
Manage vendor payments and monthly billing in compliance with JLL policies and guidelines
Monitor accounts receivables to optimise cash flow
Ensure robust documentation that meet audit requirements and maintain integrity of all financial transactions through effective processes
Month End Closing
Lead the month-end closing process (expense/revenue accrual etc) for the business line, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Investigate and resolve unusual variances or accounting issues
Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, local reporting standards and client contractual requirements
Financial Planning & Analysis
Maintain comprehensive account-level tracker containing key P&L metrics (revenue, costs, management fee etc) and business status and ensure timely update with proper supporting documentation
Prepare and present month end financial packages with meaningful variance analysis for internal stakeholders
Partner with the Operations Lead to develop comprehensive annual budget and rolling forecasts
Adhoc scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis
Process Remediation & Standardisation
Resolve existing financial process gaps and operational issues within the Singapore business line
Establish robust framework for documentation and financial governance
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and consistency.
Required Qualifications:
University degree or professional qualification in accounting, finance or relevant field (ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
Minimum 4-5 years of financial experience
Experienced in navigating complex matrix environments
Business partnering and commercial finance experience is added advantage
