WE ARE HIRING – DEMI CHEF

Swiss Avenue Hotel, Sungai Petani is looking for a dedicated and experienced Demi Chef to join our Kitchen Team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar position
• Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is an advantage
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen hygiene
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Disciplined, responsible and committed to work

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef de Partie/Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and hotel standards
• Ensure food quality, presentation and portion control
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area
• Monitor food stock and minimise wastage
• Follow food safety and Halal requirements
