Job Summary
You will design and deliver engaging fine art lessons and workshops for children aged 3 to 17, fostering creativity and skill development in sketching, painting, and sculpture. You will guide students according to curriculum standards, track their progress, and collaborate effectively with parents and colleagues to enhance learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver lesson plans and art programs aligned with HEart Studio standards to engage children across various age groups
Teach fine art techniques including sketching, painting, and sculpture in a creative and interactive manner to support students’ artistic growth
Demonstrate and coach students on applying elements of design and modern art principles tailored to their abilities
Communicate clearly and effectively with parents, students, and fellow teachers to build strong relationships and support student development
Create a positive and conducive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity
Plan and coordinate adhoc studio programs and events to enrich the student experience
Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing timely feedback to guide improvement
Maintain studio cleanliness and uphold housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and welcoming space
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts, Design, or related fields,
FAJTs
teachers are highly preferred
1-3 years of experience teaching fine art to children in studio, preschool, or MOE schools or equivalent settings
Proficient knowledge of painting and drawing techniques
Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment
Ability to communicate effectively and patiently with children and parents
Demonstrated independence, resourcefulness, and self-motivation with initiative
Proven track record supported by a portfolio of work
Availability to work weekends
