About the Role
  • We are looking for a hands-on Sourcing/ Procurement Engineer to support our electrical projects and growing Malaysia operations.
  • You will work closely with our project, engineering and tender teams to source suitable equipment, materials, suppliers and subcontractors, while supporting commercial evaluation, cost control and project delivery.


Job Responsibilities
  • Manage sourcing and procurement activities for electrical and M&E projects, including projects in Malaysia.
  • Identify, evaluate and develop suitable suppliers, subcontractors and service providers.
  • Handle RFQs, quotation comparison, commercial evaluation, negotiation, purchase coordination and delivery follow-up.
  • Source electrical equipment and materials for power, distribution and related engineering projects.
  • Review technical specifications, drawings and BOQ to understand sourcing and procurement requirements.
  • Support tender preparation, cost estimation, project budgeting and commercial evaluation.
  • Monitor procurement costs and identify cost-saving or value-improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with project, engineering, tender and other internal stakeholders.
  • Support the development of the Company's supplier network, particularly for Malaysia operations.


Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Around 2–5 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience in electrical, M&E, construction, utilities, engineering or related industry.
  • Experience sourcing electrical equipment, materials or engineering-related products.
  • Able to understand technical specifications, drawings and BOQ.
  • Experience in Electrical Transmission & Distribution/ power projects will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Malaysia supplier or vendor market will be an advantage.
  • Able to independently identify, assess and develop new suppliers.
  • Good commercial awareness, negotiation and cost-control mindset.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willing to travel between Singapore and Malaysia when required.
