Our core research covers the impact of U.S. policy shifts on cross-border markets, the evolution of bilateral economic and trade investment relations, investment risks amid geopolitical shifts, economic security and market access regulations, regional business environment stability, as well as investment opportunities and challenges against the backdrop of great power competition. We combine rigorous political and economic research, professional commercial judgment, and actionable strategic recommendations to provide comprehensive decision support for corporations, investment institutions, and international business organizations pursuing overseas investment and cross-border operations in a complex global environment.

We are currently expanding our network of senior expert advisors and invite experienced cross-border investment strategy advisors to join us. We look for candidates who can detect early policy signals, interpret diplomatic and economic trends, assess regional investment climates, and translate complex global political and economic developments into clear, credible, and actionable insights and strategic guidance for overseas investment decisions.

This is a flexible engagement opportunity ideal for seasoned professionals who wish to contribute to high-impact cross-border investment research projects while maintaining a flexible work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your area of specialization and specific project needs, you will be responsible for:

• Tracking U.S. foreign strategic positioning, geopolitical landscape evolution, regional security dynamics, and core policy developments, and assessing their far-reaching implications for global cross-border investment allocation and regional operational environment.
• Analyzing the trajectory of bilateral and mutilateral geopolitical relations between the U.S. and key regions including Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, and examining how great power geopolitical competition, regional political shifts, and security developments shape local investment climates, operational stability, and strategic room for maneuver.
• Producing high-quality geopolitical risk assessments, regional situation analyses, country-specific investment environment evaluations, policy outlook forecasts, and executive-level strategic briefings for investment decision-makers.
• Delivering independent, professional, and evidence-based strategic judgments grounded in thorough research of geopolitical landscapes and policy trends, to support cross-border investment portfolio positioning and risk response planning.

Qualifcations

Ideal candidates will typically meet the following criteria:

• Deep understanding of the U.S. foreign and economic policy framework and decision-making logic, with a clear grasp of how U.S. relations with key countries and regions impact cross-border investment dynamics.
• In-depth expertise in the bilateral geopolitical and commercial environment of at least one key region among Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
• Exceptional analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to break down complex political and economic issues clearly, accurately, and concisely, and deliver investment-focused conclusion.
• Professional proficiency in English sufficient for research, business communication, and report writing.
• A minimum of 5 years of full-time professional experience in cross-border investment, international trade, geopolitical risk advisory, financial market analysis, corporate overseas strategy, international business organizations, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior senior experience in geopolitical strategy and oversears risk departments of multinational corporations, geopolitical research teams, advisory firms, think tanks, or relevant government foreign affairs and geopolicy department.

Eligibility

• Candidates must be legally authorized to provide independent consulting or part-time professional services in their country or jurisdiction of residence.
• Candidates are reponsible for complying with all applicable local tax, professional licensing, and independent contractor regulations.
