Our projects bring together field instruments, technical systems, communications and software platforms into complete operational solutions, from planning and installation through to testing, commissioning and long-term support.

We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Project Coordination Operations team and coordinate multidisciplinary projects from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from kick-off to final handover.

• Prepare and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project.

• Coordinate with clients, engineers, technical teams, suppliers, subcontractors and site personnel.

• Track project milestones, technical submissions, equipment delivery and site progress.

• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, training and handover activities.

• Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, schedules and project documentation.

• Follow up on outstanding actions, delays and project issues.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, including Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or other Engineering disciplines; Environmental Science, Applied Science or other relevant Science fields; Business Management, Project Management or related disciplines.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, project engineering, project management or a related role.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Project for scheduling and progress tracking.

• Experience in engineering, M&E, instrumentation, automation, system integration, infrastructure or other technical projects will be an advantage.

• Strong organisational, communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Willing to travel and attend project sites when required. Valid driving licence preferred.

Hydroaxys Project Coordinators work closely with engineers, technical specialists, field teams and other relevant personnel depending on the project. We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, technically curious and comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment.

This role is suitable for candidates from engineering, science, technical or business backgrounds who enjoy project coordination and want to develop further in technical project management and system integration.
