About the Role

We are looking for a Mid / Senior Embedded Software & Robotics Engineer to join our robotics development team and work on the next generation of intelligent robotic systems.

You will be involved in humanoid robotics, ROS 2, embedded systems, reinforcement learning, simulation and real-world robot deployment. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and turning robotics concepts into working systems.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and integrate software for humanoid robots, including EngineAI and Unitree platforms.
  • Develop ROS 2 applications using C/C++ and Python.
  • Work on robot control, sensors, actuators and communication systems.
  • Develop and integrate embedded systems using ESP32, STM32 or similar platforms.
  • Work with Linux/Ubuntu, NVIDIA Jetson and edge computing platforms.
  • Support reinforcement learning and robot-control projects, including PPO, AMP, motion imitation and sim-to-real deployment.
  • Integrate and troubleshoot hardware, SDKs, sensors and robotic systems.
  • Work with communication protocols such as CAN/CAN-FD, EtherCAT, UART, SPI and I2C.
  • Debug and resolve complex hardware/software integration issues.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, AI/ML or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in embedded software, robotics, software engineering or related fields.
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills and good knowledge of Python.
  • Strong Linux/Ubuntu development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded systems and hardware/software integration.
  • Good understanding of networking and communication protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and learning new technologies, SDKs and hardware platforms.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM5,000.00 per month
