Key Responsibilities

• Specialize in planning activities involving production control, inventory control, process control, shop floor control, and Material Resources Planning (MRP) integrity.

• Maintain SAP work order release schedules to ensure materials are delivered on time to Manufacturing and Engineering.

• Reschedule and/or complete no-charge and discrete jobs as required.

• Increase component availability at time of release through pre-shortage analysis and perform work order variance analysis.

• Review MRP execution and ensure accuracy of information, reconcile supply and demand, and validate master scheduling and PDS requirements.

• Review and ensure proper disposition of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and prepare status reports for all ECOs and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) in process.

• Participate in floor audits with Finance and resolve Work-In-Progress (WIP) issues.

• Attend production meetings and provide updates on material shortage commitment dates.

• Work closely with Engineers to manage materials for special engineering projects and support shop floor control activities where required.

• Analyze usage data and inventory levels to order parts, maintain planned stock levels, expedite shortages, and forecast spare parts requirements.

• Examine material variances, resolve issues where possible, and escalate complex problems to management.

• Assist in setting up new inventory systems or enhancing existing systems and assign expediting responsibilities where appropriate.

• Manage obsolete inventory and support inventory optimization initiatives.

• Participate in identifying root causes and corrective actions from PCI reporting and metrics, and drive cycle counting activities.

• Lead or participate in project teams as a subject matter expert to design and develop methods for consolidating and analyzing structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.

• Perform ad-hoc statistical analysis and data mining activities.

• Develop data visualizations and reporting dashboards using Tableau.

• Work closely with business users to understand requirements and transform data insights into actionable recommendations.

• Utilize Python, SQL, or equivalent tools to support data analysis, forecasting, reporting, and decision-making initiatives.
