Location: Johor, Malaysia
Salary: RM3,000 per month
Fuel Card: RM300 Shell Card provided by UEMS

Working Days: 5.5 days per week
Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Job Description

We are looking for an Area Executive (Environmental Services) to oversee and coordinate Environmental Services operations across multiple healthcare facilities in Johor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining service quality, managing manpower, and building good working relationships with clients and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate Environmental Services operations across 4 healthcare sites in Johor.
• Plan, organize and control daily operations to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.
• Manage and monitor a workforce of approximately 110 staff, including foreign workers from Bangladesh, Nepal and Indonesia.
• Work closely with the HR Department on foreign worker and manpower-related matters.
• Ensure UEMS operational standards and relevant requirements, including ISO 9001 and MSQH, are properly implemented.
• Liaise with hospital/facility management and key decision-makers to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor the performance of Supervisors and provide the necessary support for their development.
• Conduct performance appraisals for Supervisors when required.
• Provide timely operational updates and feedback to the Operations Manager / Area Manager.
• Support new site/start-up activities and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Promote professionalism, integrity and a positive company image.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager / Area Manager.

Sites Under Coverage

The successful candidate will oversee operations across:

• IHT Rehabilitation Centre, Johor
• Regency Specialist Hospital – including Kitchen & New Block
• Regency Medical Care Centre
• Tunku Laksamana Johor Cancer Centre, Larkin

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in a relevant field, OR
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Housekeeping or Linen & Laundry operations.
• Experience in operations, facilities management, housekeeping, healthcare support services or similar environments will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Experience managing a sizeable workforce is highly preferred.
• Comfortable working with and managing foreign workers.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel between the assigned sites in Johor.
• Able to commence work ASAP.
