Responsibilities:
1. Quality Management & Compliance
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
- Develop, monitor, and improve Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable industry standards.
- Support and lead internal and external quality audits.
2. Project Quality Control
- Oversee quality inspections for Mechanical & Electrical installations including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and ELV systems.
- Review and approve quality-related documents such as method statements, material submissions, shop drawings, and inspection records.
- Monitor site activities to ensure workmanship and installation quality meet project requirements.
- Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and authorities.
3. Testing, Commissioning & Handover
- Manage testing and commissioning activities for all M&E systems.
- Witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and performance testing.
- Lead snagging, de-snagging, defect rectification, and project close-out activities.
- Ensure timely preparation of as-built records, test reports, operation manuals, and handover documentation.
4. Quality Improvement & Issue Resolution
- Investigate quality issues, non-conformances, and client complaints.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality performance.
5. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor QAQC engineers, inspectors, and quality personnel.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Provide regular quality performance reports and recommendations to management.
- Support contractor and vendor quality management activities.
6. Equipment & Documentation Control
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment.
- Manage quality records, inspection reports, test certificates, and project documentation in accordance with company procedures.
Authority:
- To approve subordinate leave.
- To verify third party claim.
- To recommend subordinate promotion.
Academic Qualification:
- Degree in Engineering(Preferably in Mechanical)
Skills & Experience:
- Self motivated with leadership quality.
- Data Centre or AI related experience is more preferred
- Minimum 5 years of QAQC experience in M&E construction, industrial, infrastructure, or building services projects.
- Over 5 years and above in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience in testing & commissioning, inspections, quality audits, and project handover activities.
- Good communication and correspondence skills.
- Strong understanding of M&E systems and construction practices.
- Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and codes such as NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC, IEEE, BS, MS, and local authority requirements.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Good technical knowledge about QA/QC filed in Mechanical & Electrical.
Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month

Experience:
- QAQC in construction, industrial, infrastructure / building: 5 years (Preferred)
- Managerial or leadership role: 5 years (Preferred)
