Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reports.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
• Manage and update accounting databases and filing systems.
• Help track expenses and prepare expense reports for management.
• Support in preparing for audits by ensuring records are accurate and compliant.
• Handle vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in payments or accounts.
• Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document management.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
