Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Statutory Oversight & Compliance: Ensure the company maintains compliance with the ACRA (Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority) requirements and the Singapore Companies Act.
- Fiduciary Duties: Act in good faith and in the best legal interests of the company under common law and statutory governance.
- Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the local point of contact for official correspondence from regulatory bodies, including ACRA and the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
- Governance Documentation: Sign statutory declarations, annual return filings, or corporate filings when formally requested by corporate secretarial providers.
