Responsibilities:
1. Automation Strategy & Implementation
- Develop and execute an automation roadmap to support business growth and operational goals.
- Identify manual processes suitable for automation and propose effective solutions.
- Lead automation projects from design to execution, testing, and handover.
2. System & Machine Management
- Install, program, and maintain automation equipment such as PLCs, robotics, conveyors, sensors, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational reliability.
3. Project Management
- Plan project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, QA, IT, Maintenance, HR).
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and aligned with safety and compliance standards.
4. Continuous Improvement
- Conduct regular assessments to improve automation performance and efficiency.
- Implement best practices and ensure system documentation is up to date.
5. Team Leadership & Training
- Lead and guide a team of automation technicians and engineers.
- Provide training to production staff on new automated processes.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related fields).
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley).
- Familiarity with robotics, SCADA systems, HMI, sensors, and industrial networking.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automated machines.
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automation, engineering, system integration, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience in leading automation projects or managing a technical team.
