Role & Responsibilities
Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and areas for improvement.
Advise management, project teams and contractors on compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, Regulations and applicable Codes of Practice.
Review and provide advice on Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Method Statements and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
Monitor site activities and ensure appropriate WSH control measures are properly implemented and maintained.
Investigate workplace incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare WSH inspection reports, incident reports, statistics and other required safety documentation.
Conduct or support toolbox meetings, safety briefings, Safety Time-Outs and other WSH awareness programmes.
Attend and support WSH Committee meetings, project meetings, audits and inspections where required.
Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and relevant authorities on WSH-related matters.
Support internal and external WSH audits and continual improvement initiatives, including follow-up and closure of safety findings.
Requirements
Registered WSHO with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore.
Relevant experience in construction, facilities, infrastructure or project-based environments will be advantageous.
Able to prepare clear and professional reports.
5.5 or 6 day work week
