Job Description:
- Lead and supervise the Coating Inspector (NACE 1/2/3) team, reviewing their inspection findings and reports.
- Prepare, review and approve coating specifications, surface preparation standards, and coating application procedures in compliance to project specifications.
- Perform various coating system validations through test panels.
- Drive resolution of coating non-conformances and CAPA.
- Liaise with coating manufacturers and Classification Society surveyors on coating system approvals.
- Report coating quality KPI status, coating issues and inspection status to Project Manager.
- Interface with Class, Client and paint manufacturers.
- Preparation and review of Inspection and test plan.
- Managing the coating inspections, ensuring that the inspection and test records are submitted for approval progressively.
- Quality induction to Sub-contratcors on the project quality requirements for projects prior to start of work.
- Calibration and control of all inspection instruments.
- Drive digitization of coating inspection and reports.
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering with NACE or FROSIO Level III certification.
- 10 years' experiences in managing Coating inspection functions in EPC projects/fabrication yards.
