The Role:

The Broker will be responsible for analysing clients’ reinsurance needs and supporting Treaty and Facultative placements across various classes of business, including preparing submissions, engaging markets, and negotiating terms and conditions. The role also involves supporting MGA and reinsurance facility development. The ideal candidate has strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with an interest in structured solutions and new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse client reinsurance needs and risk exposures

Support Treaty and Facultative placements across various classes

Prepare submissions and engage suitable reinsurance markets

Negotiate terms, pricing, capacity and placement conditions

Support the development and management of MGA and reinsurance facilities

Coordinate placements from enquiry through completion

What Do You Need To Have:

Experience or strong interest in insurance or reinsurance broking

Good analytical, communication and negotiation skills

Understanding of Treaty and/or Facultative reinsurance is an advantage

Interest in developing structured solutions, facilities and new business opportunities

Proactive, commercially minded and relationship-driven
