The job involves supporting the Lead, Finance in financial and accounting tasks, including fund monitoring, bill certification, credit control, tax computation, stock management, and fixed asset register maintenance. Daily accounting postings, liaising with internal/external parties, preparing financial reports, and handling other assignments are also part of the role.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 3 year(s) relevant experience or non-graduates with 5 years relevant experience with good track record.
Responsibilities
- Involve in month-end closing activities by preparing accurate and complete monthly accruals and provision journals.
- Compile and calculate daily standard costs for all raw materials used in the production which are submitted by the Production Team.

- Maintain the accuracy and completeness of fixed-asset register including the capitalisation, calculation of depreciation, write-offs and disposal in accordance with the accounting standards.
- Ensure that depreciation schedules are updated regularly and aligned with asset useful life and residual value.
- Work closely with Project Team and other departments on the progress of capex projects to streamline the capitalisation of fixed assets.
- Conduct periodical fixed assets sighting to reconcile the physical presence of assets with the fixed assets register.
- Prepare the monthly bank reconciliations. Compile and calculate daily standard costs for all raw materials used in the production which are submitted by the Production Team.
- Monitor and prepare daily cash flows, including recording daily cash collections from customers, planning and forecasting daily payment to vendors.
- Assist in analysing the effects of costing and manage costs within M3 system.
- Provide analysis on the variance of general and administrative expenses.
- Involve in performing monthly stock count.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors by addressing their requests and providing necessary documentations.
- To carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Lead, Finance.
- Comply, support and follows all company policies, procedures and all statutory requirements within area of responsibility and ensure taking care of own health, safety and environment at all time.
- Aware & comply on all GMP, Food Safety & Quality requirements at all time within MSMJ premise.
