Job Title: Site Safety Supervisor – Infrastructure Projects

Location: Pulau Pinang (S2A Project)

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Construction Manager / Safety Manager

Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of site safety experience in construction or infrastructure projects

Salary: RM 3,000.00 - RM 4,500.00

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Safety Supervisor to oversee and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices on-site. The role is responsible for ensuring all site activities comply with statutory safety regulations, company safety policies, and project-specific safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, monitor, and enforce site safety policies, procedures, and safety plans.
• Conduct daily and weekly site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Organize toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and induction training.
• Lead pre-task talk briefing before start the work.
• Ensure all workers and subcontractors comply with safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
• Monitor high-risk activities such as lifting operations, working at height, excavation, and confine space (if applicable), hot work activity, work near water (if applicable) and other related high rist activities.
• Assist in any investigation accident and incident, and near miss at site. Report finding to Safety Officer for further investigation.
• Maintain all safety documentation, records, and statutory compliance reports.
• Coordinate with project management, consultants, and authorities on safety matters.
• Ensure emergency response plans, fire-fighting equipment, and first-aid facilities are in place and functional.
• Stop unsafe work practices immediately and recommend corrective measures.
• Promote a positive safety culture among all site personnel.
• Assist and inspect of PTW enforcement at site.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.
• Certified Site Safety Supervisor registered with DOSH (Malaysia) is highly preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years of site safety experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations, OSHA requirements, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or highway construction projects.
• Ability to conduct safety training and hazard assessments effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• High level of responsibility, discipline, and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, site-based role with exposure to construction site conditions.
• Extended hours, weekend, and emergency call-outs may be required.
• Strict compliance with PPE and safety regulations is mandatory.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
