We're Hiring: Business Analyst (Life & P&C Insurance Domains)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Employment Type: 1 Years Contract

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to drive AI-powered customer and agent experience transformation initiatives across Life Insurance and Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domains.

Key Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end requirement gathering for AI-driven customer and agent journeys across Life and P&C insurance domains.

Conduct workshops with regional and country stakeholders to finalize business processes and conversational flows.

Perform research and analysis to identify industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies that can bring a "WOW" factor to future customer experiences.

Write clear and detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for AI voicebot, chatbot, and hybrid UI experiences.

Document requirements for servicing transactions, claims, investment journeys, and policy management processes, and redesign workflows where necessary.

Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams and solution architects to ensure seamless integration of conversational and visual experiences.

Maintain project documentation and track approvals for requirement sign-offs.

Support functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by clarifying requirements and validating user stories.

Take ownership of requirement quality and ensure alignment with the overall customer experience vision.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

Proven experience in: Digital transformation initiatives

AI, chatbot, or conversational AI projects

Strong proficiency in:

User story creation, Process flow documentation & Business and functional requirement documentation

Hands-on experience with: Agile methodologies & Jira and/or Confluence

Ability to work effectively with UX/UI teams to deliver hybrid conversational journeys.

Strong understanding of:

Life Insurance and/or P&C Insurance domains & Policy servicing processes

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and workshop facilitation skills.

Strong ownership mindset with a passion for delivering customer-centric solutions.

Good-to-Have

Experience with AI/ML-powered customer engagement platforms or conversational design.

Understanding of insurance regulatory compliance across multiple markets.

Exposure to multi-country projects with phased delivery approaches.
