• HSSE-MS Governance: Establishes, implements, and maintains the Project HSSE Plan, Emergency Response Plan (ERP), and Job Safety Environmental Analysis (JSEA) procedures aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Statutory Compliance: Enforces full compliance with Malaysian safety legislation, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA)—incorporating all statutory technical plant and machinery provisions—alongside the Environmental Quality Act 1974 (EQA) and DOSH/DOE regulations.
• Permit-to-Work & High-Risk Oversight: Directs high-risk operational controls, rigorously auditing permits for working at heights, confined space entry, heavy lifting operations, and electrical high-voltage workfaces.
• Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis: Leads investigations for all near-misses, incidents, and injuries, driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and managing mandatory reporting to DOSH, DOE, and executive stakeholders.
• Environmental & Waste Controls: Directs site environmental controls, including Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCP) and proper handling, storage, and tracking of scheduled waste under DOE guidelines.
• Training & Engagement: Directs mandatory site safety inductions, regular toolbox talks, specialized safety audits, and safety incentive programs for all direct employees and sub-tier contractors.
• Subcontractor Safety Audits: Conducts regular HSE audits on trade contractors to verify safety officer qualifications, safe work method statements (SWMS), and frontline safety compliance.

Pay: RM8,500.00 - RM12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sungai Lembing: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Construction Safety Supervision: 8 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Green Book (Preferred)
