We are seeking a hands-on and commercially minded Finance Manager to lead the Company’s finance and accounting function. The successful candidate must be technically competent, detail-oriented and able to take full ownership of financial reporting, controls, deadlines and team deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, bank reconciliations and cash-flow management.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing, financial statements and management reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and Group requirements.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, variance analyses and other financial information required by Management.
- Review inventory costing, stock reconciliations, distributor commissions, incentive payments and related financial transactions.
- Ensure timely compliance with corporate tax, SST, e-Invoice and other applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, government authorities, regional management and Head Office.
- Maintain effective internal controls, financial policies and standard operating procedures, and proactively identify and address financial or operational risks.
- Lead, supervise and develop the Finance team by allocating work clearly, monitoring progress and reviewing the accuracy and completeness of deliverables.
- Work closely with other departments and provide Management with clear financial analysis, business impact and practical recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvements in finance processes, reporting efficiency and system utilisation.
- Ensure all financial records and supporting documents are complete, accurate, properly maintained and readily available for audit or management review.
- Perform other finance-related duties and projects assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. A recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent would be an advantage.
- At least seven years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including a minimum of three years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of full-set accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, statutory compliance and internal controls.
- Proven ability to lead a team, manage competing deadlines and follow through on responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting or ERP systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Experience in the direct selling, FMCG, distribution, health and wellness or inventory-based industry would be an advantage.
- Candidates who are available at short notice will be given preference.
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
