Our client is an established organisation in the Warehousing and Supply Chain Solutions industry. Due to their current business expansion, they are looking for a Logistics Assistant to join their team and support their growing operations. They are located in the West Central area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving, picking, packing, loading and unloading activities.
• Support order preparation and ensure items are ready for dispatch.
• Handle the movement of goods and materials within the warehouse.
• Arrange products and materials in the designated storage areas.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks and other material handling equipment as required.
• Carry out regular stock checks and assist with inventory accuracy.
• Check goods for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the Supervisor.
• Carry out basic checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and well organised.
• Follow warehouse SOPs, safety guidelines and 5S practices at all times.
• Report safety incidents, stock discrepancies and operational problems promptly.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift Refresher License (non-expired).
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
