The Role:

• Assist the QS Manager.
• Lead and supervise assigned Quantity Surveying staff.
• Oversee the day-to-day execution of QS contractual functions and ensure timely delivery.
• Allocate and prioritize workload to maintain effective backlog and workload management.
• Monitor the quality and accuracy of claims, valuations, and contractual accounts.
• Ensure compliance with PSSCOC, company SOPs and relevant contractual requirements.
• Monitor outstanding contractual matters and drive timely resolution.
• Prepare and submit monthly QS reports including project status, risks and outstanding matters.
• Provide guidance and support to QS staff on contractual and QS matters.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, HDB, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Escalate contractual, operational, and performance issues to management.
• Support process improvements and other assignments as required.

What Do You Need to Have?

• Candidates must possess a Diploma or a Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• He/she must possess at least 3 to 5 years of working experience in Quantity Surveying and contract administration.
• Good knowledge of claims, valuations, contractual accounts and Variation Orders.
• Familiarity with PSSCOC.
• Strong supervisory and team management skills.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and HDB will be an advantage.
