Student Management Officer

Salary: $3,200–$3,500/month
Contract: 13 months (21 October 2026 – 19 November 2027)
Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–3:00pm, inclusive of 30-minute lunch
No work on Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays & School Holidays

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct fact-finding and support inquiries relating to student conduct matters.
• Engage students and provide appropriate support.
• Support restorative conversations and conflict-resolution activities.
• Assist with parent/guardian engagement on student management matters.
• Escalate safety, well-being and serious misconduct cases when required.
• Supervise students during recess, examinations, detention and student movement.
• Maintain accurate case records and provide relevant updates.
• Monitor student behaviour and attendance during detention.
• Refer matters requiring further disciplinary action to designated personnel.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Youth Work, Education or related discipline preferred.
• At least 2 years' experience working with children or youths.
• Experience in student discipline, case management, counselling, youth mentoring or behaviour management is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm, objective and professional when handling sensitive situations.
• Good judgement, integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
