JOB DESCRIPTION

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including power distribution, equipment, and wiring, to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections of electrical systems in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Respond promptly to electrical faults or breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous operations.
• Supervise and guide electricians or technicians performing electrical-related tasks.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including those set by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission).
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Oversee energy usage and implement energy-saving strategies to optimize power consumption and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized electrical services when required.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure a safe working environment during electrical maintenance activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Maintenance Engineer or management.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and facility management.
• Chargeman certification (e.g., BO, B1, B4) from Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance techniques.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards for electrical systems.
• Proficiency in energy management and optimization strategies.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
