Job Description

We are looking for an experienced BIM Modeller to join our project team for a data centre construction project. The BIM Modeller will be responsible for developing, updating and maintaining accurate BIM models based on design drawings, shop drawings and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models based on design drawings, shop drawings and engineering information.
• Produce BIM models for MEP, Architectural and/or Structural disciplines as required.
• Create and update models using Autodesk Revit and other relevant BIM software.
• Prepare BIM models, layouts, sections, details and drawings for construction purposes.
• Coordinate BIM models with other disciplines to ensure accurate integration of building services and structures.
• Assist in identifying and resolving clashes and modelling issues.
• Incorporate design changes, RFIs, site changes and approved revisions into BIM models.
• Ensure BIM models are developed according to project standards, specifications and required Level of Development (LOD).
• Assist the BIM Coordinator / BIM Manager in model coordination and clash detection activities.
• Support the preparation and updating of shop drawings, coordination drawings and as-built models.
• Ensure model accuracy and consistency with approved drawings and site conditions.
• Maintain proper file naming, model version control and BIM documentation.
• Work closely with engineers, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to resolve modelling and coordination issues.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings when required.
• Perform model checking and basic QA/QC before submission.
• Carry out other BIM-related tasks assigned by the BIM Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in BIM, Engineering, Architecture, Construction or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a BIM Modeler in the construction industry.
• Experience in Data Centre, Industrial, Commercial or MEP-intensive projects will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
• Knowledge of Navisworks and AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Experience in MEP BIM modelling will be highly advantageous.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and building services.
• Knowledge of clash detection and BIM coordination.
• Familiar with BIM standards, LOD and model coordination processes.
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
• Willing to work on-site in Nusajaya, Johor.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
