About Us
Chin Mee Chin has been a Singapore heritage name since 1925, loved for its kaya toast, freshly baked buns, custard puffs and traditional kopi. Our NEX outlet brings that old-school kopitiam and bakery experience to Serangoon. We're looking for an Outlet Manager to lead the team, run the outlet day to day, and keep the Chin Mee Chin standard strong. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager of Chin Mee Chin.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
Oversee daily outlet operations, including opening and closing procedures, and ensure smooth service during peak periods
Maintain consistent product quality, presentation and service standards across the bakery counter, drinks station and dine-in area
Manage inventory, stock ordering, receiving and wastage control, working closely with the central kitchen and suppliers
Ensure full compliance with SFA food safety and hygiene requirements, workplace safety standards and company SOPs
People Management
Lead, train and motivate a team of service and kitchen staff
Plan staff rosters to match business needs while managing manpower costs
Conduct on-the-job training, performance reviews and coaching
Build a positive, respectful team culture that keeps turnover low
Business Performance
Drive sales and meet outlet targets for revenue, cost of goods and labour cost
Monitor daily sales and P&L, and report performance to management
Carry out local marketing initiatives and seasonal product launches
Handle cash management, POS reconciliation and banking procedures
Customer Experience
Deliver warm, efficient service that reflects Chin Mee Chin's heritage
Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and quickly
Build rapport with regulars and the local community
Requirements
At least 3 years of F&B experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role (bakery, café or kopitiam experience preferred)
Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Good understanding of F&B cost control, inventory management and basic P&L
Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Food Safety Course Level 1 certification (Level 3 is an advantage)
Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Hands-on, dependable, and proud to serve good food
