We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer / Integration Programmer to develop a custom application that connects an existing Nuveq access control system with a workforce monitoring platform and a FARGO card printer.

Project Scope

The developer will be responsible for designing and developing the complete integration between Nuveq, the application database, the workforce dashboard and the FARGO DTC1250e card printer.

Nuveq already provides an API. The work is not to develop the Nuveq API, but to build a new application that communicates with it.

The developer will need to:

• Study and integrate with the existing Nuveq REST API.
• Retrieve and process worker, access card and access transaction information from Nuveq.
• Develop the backend application and database required to store and process the information.
• Develop the logic required to determine workforce movement and worker status based on access-control transactions.
• Develop a web-based workforce monitoring application using the processed Nuveq data.
• Provide historical data processing and reporting capability using stored access transactions.
• Develop the integration between Nuveq worker information and the FARGO DTC1250e card printer.
• Determine the appropriate method of communicating with the FARGO printer using its Windows driver, SDK or other supported interface.
• Deploy the completed application to the required server/environment.
• Carry out integration testing, debugging and commissioning.
• Provide complete source code and basic technical documentation upon completion.

Expected System Architecture

The project will generally involve:

Nuveq API → Integration Backend → Database → Workforce Web Application

and

Nuveq Worker Data → Card Printing Application → FARGO DTC1250e

The selected developer should be able to propose the final technical architecture rather than depending on us to provide detailed programming instructions.

Experience with access control systems, attendance systems, HID/FARGO printers or printer SDK integration will be an advantage.

We are looking for someone who can independently understand a business requirement, study third-party API documentation, design the solution architecture and complete the integration.

This position is not suitable for developers whose experience is mainly website design or frontend page development.
